from what i can understand from your comment if it is painful while you study. i would be almost certain that its posture related. make sure your not slouching, have regular breaks and do the exercises ‘double chin’ and ‘tennis in the sky’ every two hours. read my post ‘why does my neck hurt’ and also my post ‘good and bad posture’. there also seems to be some stiffness in your muscles on the sides so stretch your neck trying to gently bring your ear to your shoulder, do it gently and hold for 10 secs. do each side. repeat this every two hours as well. when your posture is better, these muscles will also be less tense.
kind regards
mark

Hello, I am very glad to see someone offering so much in depth information. As many know living like this isn’t really like living…I have listened and tried and although some helps it’s still been a constant battle. And treatment is not an affordable option so… I am very excited to dive in and find a possible fix. Thank you so very much

Not only do I suffer with chronic neck pain, but I am also a chronic pain specialist. I underwent surgery almost a year ago, which was unsuccessful–I should have known better. I am thankful for your website and fantastic information! I will be using it myself, as well as referring clients here. I am glad research is starting to show that physical therapy is more successful than surgery in many cases, because so many of the patients I take care of have had surgery, and continue to experience chronic pain. Thanks so much, Mark, for this much-needed, educational website!
