fat teenagerIt’s the new amazing fat burning wonder pill! Eat all the cakes, doughnuts and cookies you like and still lose weight! Sound too good to be true? Of course it is.

Ladies and gentlemen, how often do we see this and how often do we want to believe it’s actually true. Wouldn’t it be wonderful, we can eat of the same trashy foods and still lose weight. Apart from the fact that we are still eating foods that are so nutrient deficient it’s almost a crime to call them ‘food’, we are so often promised these miracle wonder liquids or pills are fat burners that just let the weight fall off magically. But I also, think deep down that we know even if it were true it’s not good for us. It’s a bit like smoking to lose weight, sure we may lose weight but we will not be thin and ‘healthy’. I can show you an easy way to burn calories in your daily activities quickly, easily and for free! Yes folks it won’t cost you a single penny!

First of all, let’s take a closer look at the fat burner pills and potions. They are generally stimulants that can make you irritable, nervous and can give you heart problems just to name a few. It’s a bit like trying to drive your car with your foot hard down on the accelerator whilst the other is on the brake to keep you from going too fast. It’s not good for your car and it’s not good for your body. Some even claim to burn fat in your sleep. Well, here’s a heads up, we all burn fat in our sleep because it is a natural metabolic process.

But wait! Here’s the good news. How would you like to burn extra calories free? Get a free workout during your day? But not only that, protect your back, strengthen your legs, buttocks and thighs and even help protect your knees! And it’s free! Zippo! Nada! Nothing! Zilch!

Here’s how:

Every time you have to bend forward to pick something up; do a lunge or a squat instead of bending forwards. This will save your back and discs and strengthen your body. Think of all the time you spend bending to work in the  garden, get things out of the bottom cupboards, pick things up, etc. However, now every time you need to do this you do a lunge or a squat. Imagine how good your legs will look after doing 300 or so squats daily! The only thing you need to know is how to do these safely and correctly.

Here’s how:

The squat

  • Your feet are side by side
  • Have your back upright, not leaning forwards
  • Keep your heels down, not on your balls of your feet because this will protect your knees
  • Keep your weight over your ankles. This will protect your knees as well. When you put your weight into the balls of your feet and lift your heels off the ground your weight gets pushed forward, your shins are no longer vertical and the cartilage in your knees gets squashed and eventually damaged.

The lunge:

  • Stand up feet apart, one foot in front of the other. Place one foot comfortably back, keeping your back foot straight not turned out.
  • Tuck hip under to remove back arch and stretch back hip.
  • Bend knees to dip to the floor without touching the floor. At least dip down a few inches.
  • Don’t let your front knee come over your toes. Keep your weight into your ankle like you do with the squat. This is the most important part of using the lunge to protect your knee. If you do the lunge like this you will also strengthen your legs buttocks and core muscles all at the same time.
  • Don’t arch your back. Tip your hip under to prevent arching and straighten your posture. Don’t lean back.

So there you have it. Lose weight naturally, easily and get a free workout! Help your back, strengthen and protect your knees and tone the buttocks and thighs! No pills, lotions, liquids or potions!
