Neck pain exercises.com is a site dedicated to make you pain free by teaching you firstly why you are in pain and secondly how to fix it yourself.

When you have neck pain, exercises are one of the best ways to remove your pain however it’s incredibly important that you know exactly which ones to do. If you do the wrong exercises when you have pain in your neck you can make your problem a whole lot worse. Having said that, doing the correct exercises can make you a whole lot better. So here is the quandary, which ones should you do?

Look on the internet and of course, you will see all sorts of exercises that are recommended to do for your neck pain. Unfortunately, not all of these are good to do and in fact some of them will make you measurably worse. Why is this?

Take a look at the most common cause of neck pain and you will first and foremost understand why you have pain In the first place and then when you understand this, you will also be able to get a better understanding of which exercises you should be doing.

Let me explain:

Over 80% of neck pain is postural. (see: The Major Cause of Neck Pain)This is very good news. I t’s very good because if the majority  is postural then the majority of neck pain can be fixed very easily through postural education right? Right.  Do some exercises  on a regular basis to counteract the amount of forward bending that we do in our daily lives, stay away from being in a forward head posture for prolonged periods of time and you are well on your way to a pain free neck.

This is exactly what you must do to stay pain free! Stop sitting and standing with a forward head posture. Do corrective exercises that do not worsen your problem but actually improve it and then once you are out of pain you continue to implement these on a daily basis? It is that easy! How do I know? I have treated thousands of clients over the past twenty years and have shown them exactly how to do this and they too are either pain free or at the very least, much better than before. Oh and by the way, I can honestly tell you that I have not suffered from any neck pain whatsoever for years. I work for hours on the computer(taking breaks every forty five minutes) and am acutely aware of my sitting position( not slouching), I do the  neck exercises to counteract the amount of looking down that we do and do not fall into a forward head postural position EVER!
